About Car Size Guide

Car Size Guide shows the outside dimensions of cars, drawn to scale, so you can see at a glance whether a car fits your garage, parking space or life — and how two cars differ.

Where our figures come from

The figures on this site currently come from two open sources:

Over time we add and check figures against manufacturers' own brochures and technical data sheets. Every car page lists its sources, and figures in the table link to the source they came from. Where no figure is available we show “—”. Where a source lists several versions (for example different body styles or engines) we show the first listed value or the lower end of the range and mark it varies by version.

Download the dataset

Our compiled dimensions are free to reuse under the same licence, CC BY-SA 4.0: attribute “Car Size Guide (carsizeguide.com), with data from Wikipedia contributors and Wikidata” and share any adaptations under the same licence.

The drawings

Each outline is a simplified sketch generated from the real length, height, wheelbase, width and ground clearance using one template per body type. They are drawn to a common scale so cars can be compared, but they are not manufacturer artwork and do not show exact styling. Front and rear track widths are estimated unless stated.

Accuracy

Dimensions can differ by trim, wheel size, market and model year, and between manufacturer documents. Figures are for guidance only — please check with the manufacturer or dealer before relying on them. See our disclaimer.

Trademarks

Brand and model names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify the vehicles described. Car Size Guide is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any manufacturer. We do not use manufacturer logos.
